So, on Monday I got to do something that I had dreamed of doing for a long time: watching a movie that was rereleased into theatres. When I was little, I always thought it would be cool if I could see all of my favorite movies on the big screen, and I finally got to do that! And I loved it so much! Nothing could compare to how I felt when I was there, and a word that I could use to describe it would be refreshing. I never got to see that movie in theatres as a kid, and it was finally my chance, and for some reason it meant a lot to me. And I was in shock when, everytime I would ask someone if they were going to see it, they told me, "Oh, I've already seen it." ... And I all I could think was, how can they say that? I've seen it too, in fact, I own it, but it's different. Sometimes I'm surprised by the fact that I even care so much, but I do. I guess it's because everytime I do go to the theatre, it's a big event for me. I don't have much of a social life (I don't mind that, actually. I like to keep to myself and be independent most of the time) and every ticket I purchase goes into my collection so I can remember what a good time I had. And as much as I'd like to go again, that's impossible, but I'm glad that I had my chance.
